The story of the creation of the handmade candle QUEEN BARBORA : "The candle must resemble the silhouette of Queen Barbora Radziwill's dress and smell like a combination of scents that would convey the warmth and peace of a smoldering fireplace, the gentle aroma of sandalwood, mixed with the scent of dried plant bouquets, orange trees and roses." Imagine:

The chimneys of the Wawel Castle brick ovens hum quietly. They smell of smoke from metal pots with hot coals. Fragrant herbs dried in the dark rest on a long unbleached shroud, placed between two folds of fabric. Queen Barbora slowly bathes in a hot copper bath. A maid brings and fills the bath with a pot of freshly heated water. Finally, Her Majesty stands up, climbs onto the thicker cloth that has been spread, wraps her body in a large linen shirt, then slips into a beautiful shirt embroidered with gold threads and wraps herself in a warm, fur-lined cloak. Barbora Radvilaitė closes her eyes and leans back her head. She combs it, then wraps everything in a shroud with herbs - so that the scents can be absorbed and the delicate scent of freshness will linger. Her body is massaged with oil scented with bitter orange. The Queen is getting ready to sleep...

Useful information : This candle is a handmade product. Made in Lithuania, from natural wax. Color – anthracite. Height 20 cm., width at the widest point 9.5 cm. (dimensions have a height error of +- 3 mm). Weight 600 g. We recommend burning at intervals of no longer than 4 hours. Before each burning, shorten the wick to ~5 mm. Keep candles at least 5 cm. away from each other.
